The USB port (not a cable) is starting to fail on our 2018 Mazda CX-5. Tried several cables and phones and it's intermittent and disconnects if the cable gets bumped near the port. The secondary (charge only) USB port works fine. Is there an easy fix or repair for this short of ripping out the entire thing all the way to the console?
same. almost identically so. 2016.5 cx-5. just bought a sandisk 128gb usb stick. put just about 80gbs of music on it. I can access the music instantly by going thru the "folder" path, but it takes roughly 5 minutes before I can use "playlists" "artist" album" etc. and navigating thru them is slow. the "folder" path and playlists (once they are loaded) work the fastest.

As for arranging the files, you can rename the tracks&folders (for albums) how you want them. Then use "folder" view to aee them in the order you want. Otherwise, if the tracks all include Locating the Correct Fuse. 1. On 2015 and older CX-5s, there are 3 Accessory Sockets: In the dash. In the center console. In the right rear cargo area. Starting in 2016, Mazda dropped the dash socket. So what's so hard about finding the fuse? The CX-5 has two fuse boxes, one in the driver's side kick panel, and a second one under the hood. xyUc5.
